Dewey Electronics Non-Power Products Pitlog Rodmeter

Rodmeter

This is a sensing element that protrudes from the ship’s hull to provide speed and distance indications with high accuracy and rapid response time. The Rodmeter “Pitsword” is available for submarine and surface ship use in lengths from 28-72 inches and performs in turbulent seas without fluctuation. High MTBF (mean time between failures) and low MTTR (mean time to recovery) are provided by modular construction.

Sea Valve

Hull Liners

As with the sea valve, the hull liner is used to prevent water from entering the ship when the rodmeter is removed or replaced.
